Here are two of my poems, one for Autumn and one for Thanksgiving.
Sequins
Like sequins on an old dress
The last of autumn leaves
Danced on
The ends of the branches.
Provision
How long was that ram in the thicket
The provision of God just waiting?
When asked for everything and it was rendered
You provided and delighted in the faith given
Abraham learned of the ram.
When I worry that I won’t make it
When I fear that things are falling apart
When sleep won’t come at any hour
And my bones are weary in stress
I remember the ram.
